Steamship Carola was owned by the Adria shipyard. Until the 1st WW it was a cruise ship in the Mediterranean Sea. At the beginning of the war, it was commissioned by the military. It took part in many navy operations in Dalmatia.
On 22.07.1916 around 23:00 h, due to the bad visibility, Carola collided with a steamship Matyas Kiraly and sunk between Ulcinj and Port Milena.
Due to minimum damage sustained in the collision, wreck is fairly good condition.
